1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyLifeLedger ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, simply do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service & Disclaimers

MyLifeLedger provides a digital platform for organizing personal and household information ("Ledger").

Important Disclaimers:

  • Not Legal Advice: MyLifeLedger is an organizational tool, NOT a law firm. We do not provide legal, financial, or estate planning advice. The Service is not a substitute for a Will, Trust, or professional estate plan.
  • Not a Password Manager: The Service is designed as a directory of locations ("Where is the safe?"), not a vault for credentials. You agree NOT to store sensitive unencrypted passwords, PINs, or full credit card numbers in the text fields of your Ledger.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • all activities that occur under your account.
  • the accuracy and legality of the information you input.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

4. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Cancellations

  • Billing: The Service is billed on an annual subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the initial term and any renewal terms.
  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of the current paid period.
  • Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data you enter into your Ledger ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, encrypt, and display this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your designated Trustees.

Our Platform: The MyLifeLedger software, design, code, and brand are the exclusive property of MyLifeLedger.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyLifeLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

We are not responsible for any disputes between you and your Trustees regarding the information shared via the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
